It’s been a minute, hasn’t it?

First, I want to say a massive thank uou to everyone who has stuck by us during this short hiatus. Life has a way of moving fast when you aren't looking and for the two of us, "fast" might be an understatement.

Our world looks a little different now. If you’ve been following along you know that my sister, Lynne, has traded the familiar sights of the Southeastern U.S. for the beautiful landscapes of Canada! She’s also recently remarried, starting a wonderful new chapter of her life as a Canuck and station program director and hostess of The Country Christian Hour with Lynne on KB Country Radio.

As for me, I’ve stayed rooted here just outside of Raleigh, North Carolina, where I recently hit a pretty big milestone of my own: 20 years with a non-profit dedicated to Alzheimer’s research. It’s been an honor to serve that cause for two decades which has become my tribute to our mother, Helen, who we lost due to Alzheimer’s Disease on New Year's Day in 2016. (The irony here is I was an employee at the non-profit prior to her diagnosis.)

But here is the real news: Lyn_Sey is back.

The distance between Canada and North Carolina hasn't slowed us down; if anything, it’s given us a fresh lens to look through. We are ready to move into the future together and we want you right there with us. We’ve always been about blending that vintage soul with a modern edge, but we’re ready to push those boundaries even further. To our fans - get ready! We have sounds coming that we can't wait to share.

And now…a word about something on our hearts.

Lyn_Sey has never been about us performing live, booking gigs or full blown promotion of ourselves. Our songs....Lynne's songs....are built on stories and craft— our productions are demos of how we interpret the songs and a creative outlet for us to explore musical possibilities. We would love for established artists who hear a song of ours they like to contact us about recording it and putting your own spin on it. Our phone and email contact info is on the Contact page of this website.

Our hiatus is over. The future is wide open. We are ready to get to work and hope we get to work with you as well.
